A New Comrade – Justice Lies in a Real Lady ~Nya! (jpn. 新しい仲間、正義の味方は超お嬢様にゃん Atarashii nakama, seigi no mikata wa chō ojōsama nyan) is the 2nd episode of the 1st season of Tokyo Mew Mew anime. It aired in Japan on April 13, 2002.
Summary[]
Ichigo starts working at Café Mew Mew while also searching for her future teammates. She is given a robot that she names Masha to help her. While walking home, she meets Minto Aizawa, whose dog, Mickey, begins licking Ichigo. Minto gives her a handkerchief and leaves. Ichigo later goes to Minto's house to return the handkerchief as an excuse to explore Minto's house, however, Mickey is turned into a Chimera Anima and attacks Minto, ripping the back of her dress and revealing a Mew mark. Masha dispenses a Mew Pendant, allowing Minto to transform. Mew Mint and Mew Ichigo proceed to defeat the Chimera Anima and change Mickey back to normal.
