A Stolen Kiss?! Mew Pudding Is Here! (jpn. 奪われた唇！？ミュウプリン参上！ Ubawareta kuchibiru!? Myū Purin sanjō!) is the 3rd episode of the 1st season of Tokyo Mew Mew New anime. It aired in Japan on July 20, 2022.
Summary[]
During a date with her crush Aoyama, Ichigo encounters a bubbly and fun-loving girl with a link with the monkeys at the zoo. When they are attacked, the girl activates her abilities as the fourth Mew Mew and meets Ichigo, Mint, and Lettuce after the monster is purified by Ichigo's StrawBell Bell.
Plot[]
At the Café Mew Mew, Ichigo, Mint, and Retasu "Lettuce" Midorikawa perform their waitress duties. Watching over them were Keiichiro and Ryou, who, although pleased with the Mew Mews they have working for them, express concern for recruiting the remaining two.
Waiting outside a zoo for Aoyama, Ichigo wonders if he'll ever come after inviting him to the place earlier that day. Blaming the fiasco endangered species exhibit they attended as the reason Aoyama would stand her up for their zoo trip, the person in question soon arrives. They then head into the zoo and look at different animals, but Ichigo becomes concerned after Aoyama shows little to no interest in the animals shown there. Wanting to impress Aoyama, Ichigo decides to take him through a nocturnal animal exhibit. However, his mood doesn't improve there, and Ichigo continues to blame the endangered species exhibit as the sole cause. Briefly losing him, Ichigo panics, but soon he finds her, grabs her hand, and leads her outside the exhibit. Outside of the exhibit, Aoyama apologized for holding Ichigo's hand so tightly and confessed that he didn't want to get separated from her again.
Afterward, Aoyama and Ichigo go to a cat petting area, and Ichigo learns about cats from Aoyama after over petting one. Ichigo then spots a cat that turned out to have been injured, and Aoyama wraps a bandana around its leg. After talking to Aoyama about Ichigo's love for animals, she asks Aoyama about his nervousness. In his own words, Aoyama can't explain the reason for his nervousness, and before he can explain any further, a young girl interrupts them insisting they watch her performance.
Outside close by to the monkey area, Ichigo and Aoyama watch as the young girl performs for them and others in attendance. Later, Ichigo goes to the vending area to fetch some drinks and gets spooked by the young girl from before, causing her to reveal her cat ears. At that moment, a voice proclaims that Ichigo is the one who has foiled their plans until that point. Ichigo then nervously asks who said that and is then covered with a cloth, which after she uncovers herself from it gets a kiss from the person who spoke to her. The person introduces himself as Quiche, and Ichigo becomes teary-eyed after Quiche kisses her out of nowhere. Wasting no more time with his introduction, Quiche summons a swarm of aliens to create a horde of different kinds of Chimera Animas from the zoo animals.
Meanwhile, Aoyama is rescued from a Chimeras Animas by the cat he bandaged up with his cloth earlier. Back to Ichigo and the young girl, they're surrounded by an elephant, giraffe, and lion Chimeras Animas and the elephant picks up the young girl and swings her around. Bored with how things are progressing, Quiche tries to kill Ichigo, but is stopped by Mint, and she arrives along with Lettuce. Following Mint's advice to transform into her Mew Mew form, Ichigo helps the two fight against the Chimera Animas and free them from the alien's control. Before being crushed by a Rhino Chimera Animas, the young girl revealed to be the Pudding Mew Mew rescues Ichigo from her demise.
With the combined efforts of Pudding and Ichigo, they managed to purify the remaining Chimera Animas. Noting the fun that he's experienced that day, Quiche takes his leave. After un-transforming from their Mew Mew forms, Ichigo regroups with Aoyama, who was calling out to her. Once Ichigo regroups with Aoyama, he yells at her for separating from him during the evacuation. However, he forgives her and apologizes for his outburst. Seeing that Ichigo was missing her choker, Aoyama ties the bell collar that the cat who saved him wore around her neck. Walking home with Aoyama, Ichigo promises to wear the first gift she ever got from Aoyama forever and ever.
