Pooltergeist is the third episode of the English dub, Mew Mew Power. It is preceded by Episode 03: Mew Two and followed by Episode 05: The Lion Thing.
Episode Summary[]
Late for school, Zoey carved a speedy route through town, while a timid girl, overburdened by the weight of her classmates' book bags, makes her own way toward a neighboring school, Excalibur High. So Zoey Hanson and Bridget Verdant inevitable collide only to see each other again later that day, while Zoey waits tables at Café Mew Mew.
Zoey and Corina overhear Bridget's classmates as they pressure Bridget to investigate rumors of nightly ghost sightings. Corina's convinced that the ghost sightings are just another Predasite incident. She wants the Mew Mews to do some investigating of their own, but Zoey's afraid of ghosts!
Plot[]
After having a run in with a young girl named Bridget Verdant, Zoey overhears that the spirit of a drowned girl is haunting Excalibur High, causing strange things to happen to the water in the walls and to the pool. Corina thinks they should investigate to make sure its not a Predasite. But Zoey's far to scared to go. Who or what is behind the hoax?

- The third main protagonist, Bridget Verdant, is introduced in this episode. She is the third Mew to join the Mew Project.
- The episode title is a pun of combining the words "Pool" and "Poltergeist", since the episode is about a rumored ghost girl attacking people from a school swimming pool.
- This episode marks the first appearance of the combat castanets and its accompanying attacks "Deep Sea Surge Attack" and "Tidalwave Rush".
