Synopsis[]
The fate of the world (and Ichigo's love life) depends on her finding precious Mew Aqua so she can clear both the air of Tokyo AND the air between herself and Aoyama!
Plot[]
Ichigo fights against the praying mantis Chimera Animas, and when she receives a text from Aoyama, Ichigo hastily tries to text him back. Because of this, she's attacked by one of the Chimeras, causing her to drop her phone, which got eaten by said Chimeras. With Ichigo's date in jeopardy, the rest of the Mew Mews band together to quickly defeat the remaining Chimeras. Confronting the Aliens, Ichigo tries to retrieve the Mew Aqua from Quiche, but he breaks it; however, Masha reveals that it was a fake. Quiche then kisses Ichigo on the forehead and claims he was toying with her. At that moment, the cocoon above Tokyo Tower starts to flake and pulsate; the Aliens then fire off a beam from their hands at the cocoon, causing it to hatch and proliferate a purple mist into the sky. The cocoon hatches a Dust Wyvern as the purple mist spreads across the periphery, making the people within it wince in pain. Not wanting to give up the fight, the Mew Mews, in unison, leap into the air to challenge the Chimeras and Aliens.
Elsewhere, Aoyama waits for Ichigo, but is met by Moe and Miwa, who suggest he leave due to the incident happening at Tokyo Tower. Aoyama then tries to contact Ichigo, but she doesn't pick up, and searching through the news, he learns that the Mew Mews are currently at Tokyo Tower.
Back to the Mew Mews, they reach the near top of the tower, where Ichigo launches an attack against the Chimeras, but it only makes it spread its dust even more. Using Masha as a communication device, Ryo advises the Mew Mews to locate the genuine Mew Aqua within the area so they can purify the toxic dust in the air. Although discouraged by their chances of finding the Mew Aqua, Ichigo launches an attack against the Aliens. She aimed to beat the Aliens into submission so they'd beat the Chimeras themselves. Despite Lettuce claiming her plan was crazy, Ichigo argues the order they were given was just as crazy and plans to go on her promised date with Aoyama. Hearing this inspires Mint to fight back, and soon Ichigo inspires the other Mew Mews to help as well. The newly inspired Mew Mews nerve makes the Aliens fight back and Tart fights against Pudding, Pie against Zakuro, and Ichigo against Quiche. Ichigo also gets help from Lettuce and Mint, and amid this, Mint locates the Mew Aqua somewhere above the clouds in the sky. Before reaching there, she's stopped by Quice and Pie, but Ichigo comes to Mint's rescue, allowing her to continue forward. The rest of the Mew Mews offer backup support, but as Mint was close to reaching the top of the tower, Tart throws bombs at her causing her to fall. Using her weapon, Zakuro rescues Mint and flings her to the sky, where the Mew Aqua is located. Once Mint finds the Mew Aqua, Masha appears, and Ryo instructs Mint to feed it to Masha. After she does, Masha transforms into a rod.
Returning to her friends below, Mint uses it to completely purify the toxic purple mist in the air. The move causes the Dust Wyvern to faint onto the platform the Mew Mews stood on, and after that is done, the rod transforms back into Masha, and he congratulates Mint. Combining their forces, Ichigo gains the StrawBell Bell Version Up and uses it against the Dust Wyvern, defeating it and making the Aliens retreat.
Afterward, the Mew Mews stand atop a hill and gaze at the sunset, and although they're all happy, Ichigo is notably sad because she's an hour late for her date with Aoyama. Still, the girls insist that Ichigo go and meet with Aoyama, and she does, hurrying to Aoyama's location in the pouring rain. Upon reaching where Aoyama would be waiting for her, Ichigo cannot find Aoyama anywhere and believes he has already left. However, Aoyama appears behind Ichigo, and before she can explain how she feels toward him, she believes that he intends to break up with her. Aoyama hugs her, says he likes her, and covers her head with a handkerchief. Ichigo then tearfully tells Aoyama that she likes him back.
On the Alien Spaceship, the three Aliens bow to a giant blue bubbling crystal that claims its time to awaken is nigh, on the pretty blue planet.
