Madeleine is one of the characters in the 2nd season of Tokyo Mew Mew New. Like Chiffon, she's the ancestor of the alien race that lived on ancient Earth.
Appearance[]
Madeleine has long light brown hair with her forehead showing and a waterfall braid. A large green ribbon is tied at the bottom of her hair, and the ends of her sidelocks are wrapped with green fabric. Her skin is light and her eyes are purple.
She has a simple circlet hanging over her forehead with purple beads and she wears a red, white, and green outfit that resembles a long, flowing kimono.

Trivia[]
- In Episode 16 of New, she and Retasu met after Retasu found one of Madeleine's earrings and was magically transported to the past.
- Madeleine is referred to as The Little Mermaid. Much like the mermaid in the original tale, she died without being able to confess her love and would die upon being cast into the sea.
- Though she and Chiffon were childhood friends who obviously loved each other, their different views kept them from being together.
