Natsume is a character from the spin-off manga Tokyo Mew Mew Olé!, and a side character of the series. She is a biologist involved in the new Mew Mew Project and Anzu's aunt.
Plot
Tokyo Mew Mew Olé!
Natsume is introduced as a kind and mature guardian for Anzu. Though she is a biologist and seems with bond with Anzu over Red Data Animals, she still finds Anzu's tastes to be strange at times. She convinces Anzu to attend her class Halloween party and, while Anzu leaves, mutters that she is "counting on her..."
It is later revealed in the chapter that Natsume is involved in the new Mew Mew Project alongside Shizuka Yoyogi.

Personality
Natsume is an intelligent and mature woman that cares deeply for her niece. She is proud of her work as a scientist but believes that Anzu should focus on more than just animals - specifically love and friendship, implying that she might be a very romantic and down to earth person.
