Taren Huang is a Chinese martial artist. He is the husband of Mrs. Huang, the father of Bu-Ling, Huacha, Qingcha, Lucha, Hongcha and Heicha, and the martial arts master of Yuebin Long.
Taren's wife, mrs. Huang, died and he is often away training, so his children do not see him much. Bu-Ling takes care of her siblings in place of her parents, being the oldest of them all.

Trivia[]
- "Taren" is not the name of Bu-Ling's father but an honorific in Mandarin used to address someone with high honor, so his first name is unknown.
- In Tokyo Mew Mew New Bu-Ling reveals that her parents were once a part of the Cirque de la Lune troupe and fell in love with each other during their tenure performing with them.
