The Three Beckys are three girls who used to bully Retasu Midorikawa. They pretended they were her friends so they could spend her money and get her to do their homework for them. Retasu was convinced that these girls will be the only friends she'll ever have because she is so shy until she meets Ichigo Momomiya, Minto Aizawa, and the other Mew Mews. The Three Beckys are seen to be spiteful and bossy.

They go to the same school as Retasu called Okumura Junior High School, (known as Excalibur High School in Mew Mew Power), and are only seen in episodes 3 and 16 of the Tokyo Mew Mew anime.

When the three girls visited Café Mew Mew as seen in episode 3, Ichigo witnessed them picking on Retasu and faked tripping, spilling food on them. The three girls got angry at Ichigo until Keiichiro Akasaka intervened and took the girls to get cleaned up.

In the manga, one of the girls is referred to as Aya. The 2002 anime leaves them unnamed, while Mew Mew Power gives them all the name Becky. The ending credits of episode 2 of Tokyo Mew Mew New lists their names as Mitsuba (三葉), Nina (仁奈), and Ichiko (市子).

Appearance[]

All of the Beckys wear baggy white socks with their school uniforms.

The first Becky is the shortest, she has wavy blonde hair with straight bangs, a red hairband, and black eyes. The second Becky is the tallest, she has straight dark gray hair with short bangs and matching dark gray eyes. The third Becky has short, straight red hair with her bangs covering one of her green eyes.

In New, their appearances are completely different:

The first Becky has short, light brown hair and darker brown eyes. The second Becky has long blue hair with bangs that frame one half of her face. Her eyes are the same color. The third Becky has dark brown hair tied into a loose over-the-shoulder ponytail with a purple scrunchie and warm brown eyes. She also wears a light orange cardigan. In the final episode, they became nice and friendly and the first Becky is waving "Hi" at Lettuce when working at the Maritime Museum in Odaiba as a guide.

Trivia[]
